“5 High Schools – 5 Museums” is an educational program for students in high schools. It aims at encouraging youth to take part in cultural activities by starting a series of visits in several museums in Bucharest as well as a competition between 5 high schools in Bucharest.
Through this project, ECDL ROMANIA and The General Scholar Inspectorate in Bucharest, together with Bucharest City Hall, as well as the museums involved, aim at:
- Promoting a respectful attitude towards cultural values and institutions by encouraging high school students to visit museums and by granting access to fundamental cultural values;
- Promoting the school as an institution aiming to ensure continuous and comprehensive training for students, in accordance with European standards, so that they can make a career; the cultural act is seen as an extension of the knowledge and abilities acquired in the educational environment;
- Offering pupils alternative ways of spending their spare time
