GeneratiaS (The SGeneration), the first mobile cinema on health topics, started in Bucharest on the 17th of May. It started by showing films in high schools and universities. Afterwards, students and NGO representatives took part in debates about the risks of using drugs, HIV AIDS or about healthy lifestyle.
One guest at the event was Diana Oprea, fitness world champion. She emphasized the importance of daily physical exercise and invited everyone in the room to take some gentle exercise with her.
Then, films followed at “Ion Creanga” National College in Bucharest. GeneratiaS reached Brasov on May 20, Cluj on May 25, Timisoara on May 27 and Iasi on May 31 and June 1.
GeneratiaS, just like Guerilla Verde, aims at educating the youth through films. Further details about the mobile cinema’s program are available at www.generatias.ro .
